I bought an Electronic Cigarette 3 weeks ago. I have attempted to give up smoking many times using books, will power and patches, not all at the same time however. After I got my Electronic Cigarette in the post, took about 5 days, I was very impressed with the look and feel of the “digital cigarette”. I must say it was a bit strange at first, not like the old analogues. The Electronic Cigarette is heavier and they drag a bit different but after a few hours I knew this was going to work. It is worth saying that I bought these to continue smoking the healthy way, not to give up all together. There is no tar and all those other nasty chemicals you get from tobacco. For me it was a no-brainer. Anyway, the first few days took some will power but after that there was no looking back. You get an electronic cigarette liquid refill bottle to top up your Electronic Cigarette with as and when you like. I must say, at first, I was topping up every couple of hours. You see, the nicotine levels, even in the strongest refill, are weaker than my normal tobacco cigarettes. Now I top up maybe 2 or 3 times per day. Sometimes if I have a few drinks I may give myself a larger dose…..
After three weeks I truly love my Electronic Cigarette. I don’t rush for it in the morning and don’t really feel that I need to have a drag any more. If it’s close I will take a puff. I know the question on some peoples minds is “are electronic cigarettes harmful”. Well, my lungs feel so much better. No more wheezing. No more smells. No more R1000 per month habit. The electronic cigarette liquid refills cost around R200 for the month.
See the instructions here on the Electronic Cigarette .
If you are a smoker then do yourself a favour and try to get your hands on one of these, they are brilliant. I have tried a few different brands and I feel this is the best electronic cigarette available.
Oh, did I mention you can smoke them anywhere? Even on an airplane!!!
